Part-Time Route Distributor
Chesapeake Distributing is searching for a Part-Time Distributor. This position will distribute perishable products to
grocery stores / club stores / supermarkets and department stores. Hours for this positing are generally 2-3 am to
11-12 noon due to receiving hours. This position consists of spending time driving and distributing products as well as
loading trucks for route sales and working in company's warehouse. Compensation for this position is calculated on a
percentage of your gross sales.
Duties and Responsibilities include working with Store staff and maximizing exposure and sales for the company's
product lines. The distributor will go into the stores for in-house ordering, printing invoices, unload truck with order,
going through necessary receiving process and merchandising appropriately and accordingly to promotional
opportunities with the retailer. This position requires someone who is highly motivated and outgoing in working with
all staff, management and even other vendors to promote Chesapeake Distributing and maintain the established
reputation.
Qualifications include some retail experience, a clean driving record and ability to pass DOT vehicle physical.
Candidate will be drug tested initially and randomly in accordance with insurance and DOT regulations. Candidate
must be able to lift at least 100 lbs and maneuver in and around the trucks and stores.

Sales Executive
Chesapeake Distributing is currently searching for an experienced Sales Executive. This position will have all the
necessary resources and support to develop accounts and be successful. This position has flexible scheduling and
unlimited commission earning potential. This is an outside sales position.
Qualifications include a successful background in sales working with small company owners and store managers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Quickbooks invoicing is also helpful when working with
accounting staffs. Communication skills are critical to the success of the position as you will be working with a wide
range of clients and staff members.
Duties and Responsibilities include developing accounts in a focused territory. Developing and maintaining accounts
with local convenience stores/gas stations/deli/liquor stores or any other retailers that would benefit from the
products Chesapeake distributes. Multi-tasking is key for this position as you will be working with many accounts and
processing orders to ensure excellent customer service. Developing promotional calenders for the retailers to
maximize sales and promotions will also play an important role in this position.
