Chesapeake Distributing, LLC offers a wide variety of services to both the retail and product
companies. Our services including writing orders in-house, ditto ordering systems,
merchandising, product placement, logistical management, accounting and advertising.
Ordering - Ordering with Chesapeake can be executed a number of ways. In-house ordering, ditto service
ordering or order by phone/fax/email. In-house direct ordering consist of Chesapeake Distributing going
to your location, determining product needs, writing an order and immediately pulling and merchandising
products after being processed through the necessary receiving procedures. Ditto service ordering
consists of a consistent - repeated order that is automatically generated to be delivered and merchandised
at the store, as often as you feel appropriate. Ordering by phone/fax/email simply consists of the stores
contacting their Chesapeake Distributing representative with the products needed and the merchandiser will
be there at the appointed time for delivery and merchandising.
Merchandising / Product Placement - Chesapeake Distributing will ensure that all of the products are
properly merchandised and placed for maximized sales opportunities to benefit both the retailer and
product company. Chesapeake will work with the retail and product companies to ensure successful
promotions, build and place displays in prime locations of the store, etc... At Chesapeake, we realize that a
missed sale is a missed opportunity to develop a long lasting relationship with the retail consumer.
Effective merchandising efforts include ensure no out-of-date or damaged products are on the sales floor
and available to the consumer. At Chesapeake we realize that merchandising and product placement are
the key to excellent customer service to benefit the retailer as well as the product company.
Logistical Management - Chesapeake provides logistical management for products to be effectively
distributed to the retailers on time. With our resources and logistical capability, Chesapeake will ensure
that all deliveries are executed as expected.
Accounting - Chesapeake Distributing is capable of handling all or part of the accounting functions for
your production. Chesapeake can simply provide invoicing and accounts receivable duties for the products
we distribute and retailers we work with to proving on site accounting clerks to CFO/CPA services for your
in-house accounting needs. Since Chesapeake Distributing is familiar with the distribution and retail
industries, our accounting staff can provide in depth and accurate knowledge, trends and forecasts to
benefit your business.
Advertising - Chesapeake Distributing offers advertising space on box and delivery trucks. This specific
advertising niche has grown into a “Mobile Billboard Industry". While trucks are being traveled in high
density areas during prime traffic hours, our advertising efforts maximize organization's exposure to
increase sales and contribute to your bottom line. Chesapeake also works with a number of independent
distributors to rent space on trucks. Prices and rates vary depending on square footage, route details and
